I'm glad you've had a good experience. If my client had a larger budget, I may have tried Magento Go. I almost went with CoreCommerce but had troubles even registering for a free trial, even with the assistance of their tech support team. I am using Nexcess and the community version of Magento with no issues to date.

Looked at your site, funny how your google adsense ad is showing a Volusion ad. :)

Though I have not used the Magento enterprise platform before, as a small business owner, I've got to say that my experience with Magento Go has been excellent. There are definitely limitations in the amount of customization I can do and the lack of plugins is a tad disappointing. However, it has provided an affordable, fuss-free way to deliver the most basic requirements needed - usability and functionality. And that is crucial for all small businesses who cannot afford an enterprise solutions in the start-up phase.

I recently inslled wpcheckout from tribilant software for a client. It wasn't without its install problems, which casused a few grey hairs, but they were fairly responsive (support wise) and when all was said and done... It seems to be doing what I need and the client is happy.

BTW: Great blog!

Excellent post..Its true that Big Commerce claims that they make it easy to sell online and they really do much valuable work to prove this claim. They have Seo,design , shopping cart and much more.Core commerce has also done constructive work in the field..I'm totally agree with you that Customizing your website is not terribly difficult but can be challenging.thanks for sharing this nice post.keep up the great work.

Thanks for sharing this. Well if you are bored by searching for new scripts daily i suggest you to create your own data scrapper which will scrap data from various sites related to your keyword. Advanced scraper may also allow you to insert keywords into search engines and scrap related scripts.

Much of my decision was based on the items you mentioned. Plus Pinnacle did not seem to have the greatest support. I found Core Commerce support to be quicker. I mostly used the chat feature but never once had to wait more than a minute or so to get help. I have not used pinnacle cart in a year and a half so I'm not sure how much the admin area has evolved. But in testing Core, 3dcart and Big Commerce, I found Core Commerce just a tad easier to navigate. I'd be happy to chat with you. You can email me at dflsports - at - gmail.com with your contact information.

Hello,

I am currently debating between Core and Pinnacle. Was the availability of mobile, Facebook, and Google commerce tools the only reason you went with Core? Any consideration or weight given to admin interface? The CoreC community and user base *seems* much smaller than Pinnacle, but that could be misleading.

Would you like to talk directly?

How do I contact you?

Thanks.

These are both great shopping carts, you can find 3dcart & Corecommerce in Visa's PCI List, which already makes then better than smaller providers like Bigcommerce or Magento.

I decided to say with 3dcart just because of the 24x7 Phone Support, I couldn't handle not being able to call Corecommerce after business hours or during the weekends.

The 3dcart integration for Mobile, Facebook & Twitter came standard with my store and I'm paying $19.99 / month. These work great and already got a couple sales from facebook.
